About Sustainable Putnam

We strongly encourage you to read more about Sustainable Putnam on our About page. There you’ll learn about our key values, read our mission statement and see our current Board members. Exploring our website, you can also learn more about our programs, read our recent News posts, and find upcoming events to attend.

About our Board

Sustainable Putnam’s board is passionate about sustainability and actively involved in its programs and administration. With no paid staff and a modest budget, we’re a “working Board” that maximizes our impact by leveraging our skills and knowledge, those of our other volunteers, our Advisory Committee, and our partner organizations. Again, visit our About page to see who we are. Feel free to reach out to any one of us with questions.

Who We’re Looking For

We encourage any interested person to apply. We are eager to increase board membership, especially those who can bring diverse backgrounds, new skills or experience, and who work or reside in another part of the county. We believe that as is true in ecosystems, diversity strengthens our organization by providing leadership with new knowledge, experiences, skills, and understanding.
