Food makes up the single largest portion of waste going to our landfills and incinerators in the United States today —a whopping 40%. What’s more, food waste is one of the single largest contributors to climate change.
Join our panelists as they explain the problems and the solutions their organizations are already working on right here in Putnam County. Learn what you can do to become a part of the solution.
Our local panel of experts will focus on food waste solutions that you can implement in your home, business, town, and county. Our interactive format will feature a moderated panel discussion including responses to audience questions, and a post-discussion mixer with refreshments, materials, and other resources.
