Summer Solstice Celebration

Let’s gather for a day of delicious food, summer games, and live music with fellow-minded Putnam residents! We’ll celebrate the summer solstice — the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere — and take a moment to recognize our wonderful volunteers and supporters.
We will also enjoy and EV car display, raffles, and solstice activities to empower us to continue our important sustainability work.
Everyone is welcome to attend! We request a $10 donation per adult to cover our costs, including food. Children under 12 are free. All are welcome!
More details: The celebration will be held RAIN OR SHINE at the LOWER park pavilion, just beyond the swim beach. Mention the Sustainable Putnam event at the park entrance fee, and your vehicle entry fee will be waived. BYOC: Bring your own beverage container for free water and soft drinks!
Volunteers and Electric Vehicles needed!
We’ll need at least one dozen volunteers on the day of the event. And we’ll need electric vehicles for our Electric Vehicle Showcase. Can you help out?
